COME-TO-ME FOOD PANTRY
The Come-To-Me Food Pantry is one our newest outreach projects, please see our Food Pantry page for all the details.

COATS FOR KIDS
The need for more coats continues, as last year 2000 coats were distributed in less than three hours.  Place your coats in the brightly colored tubs located throughout the church.  Gloves, mittens, hats and boots are also needed.   If you are interested in volunteering for this project contact the Church Office.

INTERFAITH HOSPITALITY NETWORK (IHN)
Fishers UMC partners with the Interfaith Hospitality Network to provide emergency shelter, meals, and assistance to homeless families with children.  We house guests at the church for 2-week sessions in both January and August of each year.  Volunteers are needed to prepare meals, serve as overnight hosts, and provide evening activities for children.  For more information on this important ministry, please contact Peggy and Mike Cooke at 776-2320, Donna and Ed Englehart at 578-2280, or Laurie and Neal Ogle at 776-8723.

ADULT MISSION TEAM
The Adult Mission Team provides the opportunity to serve each summer on a week-long mission trip.  Special events throughout the year also help to provide funds needed for these work projects.  For more information, please contact Patty or Don Greenlee at 845-5692 or plgreenlee@yahoo.com.

PAPER RECYCLING PROJECT
We take God’s call to be stewards of all Creation seriously at Fishers UMC.  One way you can help care for the environment and witness to this commitment is by recycling.  Our new Paper Recycling Dumpster is located in the northwest parking lot near USA Parkway.  Please bring your Sunday bulletins, newspapers, magazines, junk mail, and catalogs to be recycled and the proceeds will help support living wages for coffee farmers worldwide.  For more information contact the Church Office.

UMCOR COFFEE PROJECT
We partner with the United Methodist Committee on Relief  (UMCOR) and Equal Exchange to serve Fair Trade coffee at all church events.  By serving Fair Trade coffee we help to support justice for small coffee farmers around the world who usually make very little profit despite the high prices coffee retailers usually receive from coffee sales.  By combining this effort with our paper recycling project (to offset the increased cost of serving Fair Trade coffee), we make good use of all of our resources, and provide a strong social witness to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
